You absolutely can! My students are making RSA style videos this week (thanks for the comment). Just video tape yourself writing your lesson / ideas on a white board, import the video to imovie (or you favorite editing program), delete the audio, speed up the footage (I suggest 300 or 400%) and then do a voice over of the sped up video.
